These are awesome, I have been making them for over 20 years!
Flour Tortillas
4 C. flour 1 T. baking powder 2 t. salt 1/3 C. lard
Mix together, using a pastry blender or two forks.
Add 1 1/4 C. hot water, stir till combined. Rest 15 min. Roll on lightly floured surface & brown in skillet on medium/high heat.
Great for large soft tacos, taco pizzas or even with a spread of butter!

A gal I knew long ago was from Mexico and she taught me how to make these. Her daughters did a much better job than me that day and they were only ages 5 and 6 ;D
I have never tried to make them ever again. If you gals make them soon, please post pictures.

I make these a few times a year (because of the lard ) - a family favorite for over 20 years. Last night I added fresh cilantro to the mix -
