Nut Butter Balls
1 cup butter, soften at room temperature 3 TBS powdered sugar 1 tsp vanilla or almond extract 2 cups all purpose flour 1 cup finely ground nuts (I use walnuts)
Preheat oven to 350*
Cream butter and then add sugar. Blend well. Add vanilla. Sift flour and mix into the creamed butter mixture. Fold in nuts. Shape into small balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove and cool slightly. Roll once in powdered sugar and let sit. Roll again.
