Not bad brownies..........these are a cross between chewy and cake-like. They are not overly sweet, so that is good for me. I did add powdered sugar to the top but just a little. Cool School Chocolate Coffee Brownies 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder 1/2 cup strong-brewed Dunkin' Donuts Original Blend coffee 2 cups sugar 3 eggs 1 1/2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract 1 cup flour 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (Nuts are optional and no substitutions are necessary.) 1. Line a 13x9-inch baking pan with foil. 2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the melted butter with the cocoa powder and add the brewed coffee. Mix well. 3. Add the sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract. Carefully stir in the flour and nuts, but just until combined. 4. Pour the mixture into the pan, spreading it out to cover the pan evenly. 5. Bake for 25 minutes at 350ยบ F or until toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. 6. Cool completely on a wire rack, then cut into squares. Yield: 12 large brownies
