Stuffed Sicilian Pizza This is how I made the meat/cheese mix - Brown 1 lb. hot Italian sausage with 4 chopped jalapenos and 1/2 of a large sweet onion and add 4 cloves of garlic (drain well on paper towels). Let cool and add 1/2 c. pizza sauce, 1 c. mozzarella, 1/2 . ricotta cheese, 1/2 c. parmesan cheese, 1 can sliced black olives (drained), one chopped tomato and 2 t. pizza seasoning. Basic Pizza Dough from WW 1 1/2 c. warm water 1 t. sugar 1 1/2 t. salt 1 T. olive oil 4 1/4 c. flour 1 package dry yeast Add to bread machine according to manufacturer directions and use dough cycle. When complete place in a lightly oiled bowl (covered) for 30 to 45 minutes. For deep dish stuffed – use 3/4 dough for the base, bringing dough up the sides of a deep dish pizza pan sprayed with oil. Add meat/cheese filling, roll the reserved 1/4 dough and place on top, seal edges. Cut slits on top of the dough. Bake at 400º for 25 minutes, then brush top with an olive oil and garlic powder mix. Bake 5 more minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
