I don’t think I peeled them (haven’t made them in some time). I used olive oil, s&p, different spices, parm cheese, chipotle flakes, jalapenos and bacon. YUM ;D Smashed Baked Potato Cakes Recipe by Cooking4max (TSR) Smashed Baked Potato Cakes Med to large baking potatoes olive oil or butter choice of toppings Peel Yukon Yellow Potatoes Med to Large size or any boiling potato if you can't find the yellow ones. Cook whole potatoes until fairly tender, about 20 minutes. Drain on clean cloth towel. Place another towel on top of potatoes Smash down until about 1 inch thick Carefully lift from towel to baking sheet. Brush with olive oil or butter Sprinkle with anything your heart desires – Sundried tomatoes Onions Garlic Cheese (Add real cheese last 10 min of baking time) Parmesan Cheese Crushed Bacon Ham The possibilities are endless! Place on baking sheet and bake at 375º for about 15 to 20 min. until lightly browned. These are delicious.

I agree that the Yukon Golds would work perfectly with this recipe.........they are my favorite ones. Great looking recipe.
