- 1 cup cooked shredded chicken - 1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened - 1/3 cup plus 1 tablespoon of hot sauce - 1 cup Colby/Monterey Jack shredded cheese mixture - 1 stalk of celery, diced Tortilla Chips for dipping
In a bowl mix chicken with hot sauce. Spread cream cheese on the bottom of a glass pie plate. Then evenly spread chicken mixture on top of cream cheese. Top with shredded cheese mixture. Place pie plate in microwave and cook on high until cheese is almost melted (approximately 3 minutes and 30 seconds). Remove from microwave and sprinkle the diced celery over the top. Place back in the microwave for another 20 seconds or until cheese is completely melted. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
