This sure beats the canned stuff.
Cranberry Salad
1 pound fresh cranberries 1-1/2 cups sugar 1 package (6 ounce) cherry Jell-O 1 cup boiling water 1 can (16 ounce) crushed pineapple, DO NOT DRAIN 1 cup chopped nuts (walnuts or pecans)
Grind cranberries and then add sugar. Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water and cool slightly. Add cranberries, pineapple with juice and nuts. Mix well. Chill until set.
**NOTE: Can be made in a Jell-O mold

Here's my version RAW CRANBERRY APPLE SALAD 1 lg. pkg. strawberry Jello 2 c. hot water 1 c. raw cranberries, chopped 1 c. tart apples, peeled and diced 1 c. celery, diced 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (optional) Dissolve Jello in hot water. Combine cranberries and sugar; stir into the hot Jello mixture. When cool, add apple and celery. Pour into a large mold and place in refrigerator until solid. Remove from mold to serve. You can also put in a flat pan like a 9x13, i usually do it this way ;D LMK
