Sauce for Fish Tacos WHITE SAUCE 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/2 cup yogurt SALSA 1 garlic clove, peeled and minced 6 tomatoes, ripe, peeled, seeded and, diced 1/2 onion, minced 2 tbsp cilantro leaves, chopped, stems removed 2 jalapeno chilies, seeded and chopped 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper I like to add some of the salsa to the white sauce and then use both as toppers. Guts at CK posted this for me (along w/a fish taco recipe but I use either frozen battered fish or grill up some non-battered for a lower fat version) at CK when I first stumbled across it looking for a recipe.

I'm sorry but you are wrong! This is excellent on any taco (non-fish)! LOL ;D The recipe I have uses sour cream and not mayo,I'll try this version.

I use the fat free yogurt and light mayo (b/c I always have light mayo on hand). Bet sour cream would be good too in place of the mayo. You're right bean, bet this is good on any taco! ;D
