Bean posted this in To Try, and it was YUMMY! The girls, and I loved it! It was SUPER EASY! Thanx Bean! This is a very creamy macaroni and cheese dish, with lots of cheddar cheese, and very simple to make. 14 1/2 oz can chicken broth 1 cup + 2 tbs uncooked elbow macaroni 3/4 cup evaporated milk 2 tbs butter, cut up 2 tsp flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a baking dish, combine broth, macaroni, milk, butter, flour, salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Cover with foil and bake 40 min. Stir after 15 min. and again after 30 min. Remove from oven, stir in cheese until melted. Serve immediately. MAKES 4 SERVINGS.

I changed it up and put my name on it. ;D Bean’s Easy Creamy Mac & Cheese 2 cans (14 1/2 oz) chicken broth 2 1/2 c. uncooked elbow macaroni 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk 4 T butter, melted 1 heaping T. flour 1/2 t. salt 1/2 t. pepper 1 1/2 c. shredded pepper-cheddar cheese 1 1/2 c. shredded Butterkase cheese 1/2 c. sour cream Stir the flour and butter with a fork and stir in the broth, macaroni, evaporated milk, salt & pepper and place in a greased 9x13 casserole dish, cover with foil. Bake 45 minutes to an hour (until macaroni is cooked) stirring every 15 minutes. Remove from oven, stir in cheeses and sour cream, back into the oven for 5 minutes to heat through. *Next time I plan on using habanero-cheddar and Monterey jack cheese and add green chiles.

I made Bean's version because I was cooking for 2 very hungry guys. This was great...........the guys about polished off the entire dish by themselves. I used 1 cup extra sharp cheddar and 2 cups local made Amish butter cheese. I baked it at 350* for the 45 minutes and it was perfect. I also sprinkled the top with sweet Hungarian paprika.

Nini, just buy one of those throw away aluminum pans. Lil mama will love this. The key to the flavor is the butter cheese.
