Jimmy Buffett's Jalapeño Macaroni And Cheese 8 tablespoons butter melted 1/2 pound cream cheese melted 2 1/2 cups heavy cream 1 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon Tony Chachere's Seasoning 1/2 pound Cheddar cheese 1/3 cup flour 1 cup sliced jalapeños from jar 1/2 cup jalapeño juice from jar 2 tablespoons bread crumbs 1 pound Perciatel 10-inch macaroni noodles cooked al dente In a saucepan melt butter. Add cream cheese and mix until blended. Add heavy cream and whisk. Add jalapeño juice and whisk. Mix in cheddar, stirring until cheddar is completely melted. Mix in sliced jalapeños. Add salt, Tony Chachere's seasoning and flour. Continue whisking until all ingredients are completely incorporated. Spray loaf pan with pan coating. Layer bottom of pan with cooked macaroni. Cover with cheddar mixture. Add another layer of pasta and cheddar mixture. Dust top with bread crumbs. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake for 20 to 30 minutes until brown. Servings: 4

This looks wonderful! Is it really hot??? Don't think dh could handle it. ;D Some jarred jalapenos are HOT so I think it depends on how much you can take. We did not think this was too hot.

I use jarred jalapenos for everything, now, just drain and pat dry if I have to. I bought fresh jalapenos that had NO heat at all. One more question? What is~Perciatel 10-inch macaroni noodles?

Do they sell Tony Chachere's Seasoning in the grocery stores? I have never been able to find it and I really want to try this recipe!

Melissa, every grocery store around here sells it on the spice aisle, and in the seafood/deli section.

All our stores sell it, WM has a ton of their stuff. One of my favorites is the Creole Butter & Jalapeno injectable marinade (for turkeys). ;D Their More Spice Seasoning rocks too!
